The ENGAGE team is made up of talented individuals with diverse experiences and skills, but when combined, make a formidable force in the events and brand activations industry. Led by our Yoda-esque Director TJ Carroll, the team has proficiency in creative production, project management, brand strategy, event management, AV and technical design, OH&S and risk management, catering and menu curation, location/venue procurement, budgeting & analysis. 

We also count many of Australia’s finest contractors as part of our inspiring team, so no matter how big or small your project is, ENGAGE has the capabilities to accommodate your requirements and create traction that’s tangible. Because without the traction, the lights and camera mean nothing. 


OUR TEAM

TJ Carroll – Director and Creative Producer

With over a decade of experience in the events space TJ Carroll is well known for her innovate and ground breaking Brand Activation ideas.

Starting off as a Project Manager with one of Melbourne’s leading event companies TJ forged a name for herself through her ability to work across both the strategy and creative sides of the business. Coming up with the event strategy and executing the creative is something very few in the industry can do, and do it well.

In the last 10 years her enviable reputation has seen her injecting passion and creativity into branded experiences for clients such as AAMI, L’Oreal, City of Melbourne, Grocon, Investec Bank, Downer EDI Engineering, Australia Chamber Orchestra, Superpartners, Don and Kr to name a few.

Now heading up ENGAGE and offering everything from Brand Experience events to point of sale, guerilla marketing to product sampling, pop-up stores to Event Planning and beyond. With her double barrel skill set TJ is able to add a huge amount of value to her clients and help them bring their products to life.

What has seen TJ grow and stay at the top of the Brand Activation; Experiential Marketing and Event Design space is her devotion to detail and leadership. Her tireless enthusiasm ensures each experience is seamless, distinctive and valuable. 

TJ thrives on the challenge of creating and coordinating all facets of experiential events and is passionate about developing new concepts that provide impact and value beyond the activation through social media and public relations. 

Damien – Project Coordinator

Damien brings with him a rich and diverse skill set with extensive experience overseas in New York, Milan, and London. His portfolio of communication and brand activation event campaigns spanning Microsoft to Jean-Paul Gautier demonstrates his ability to generate engaging concepts and deliver seamless executions for the most challenging brands.

Since making the move down-under, he has successfully brought his expertise and strategy to clients in property, media and hospitality with considerable results.

Damien honed his skills in his Communications and Marketing degree allowing him to have a complete understanding of marketing and social media objectives when designing brand activation event concepts.

Passion and a unique background are not the only strengths of this high-achiever. Trained in interior design in Paris, Damien’s creativity and styling are strong assets in building memorable brand experiences. 

At ENGAGE Damien excels in the management of projects, bringing your campaigns to life and delivering successful brand activation events.

Amanda – Project and Events Coordinator

Amanda is by far the most hands on creative team member here at ENGAGE, who said ‘cut and paste’ would never come in handy when you become apart of the big bad world had no idea of how it would impact the consumer market today.

Prior to taking on the Project Coordinator role at ENGAGE, Amanda had been a supplier of ours for a couple of years. Her ability to translate our experiential marketing ideas into custom creations enabled us to reflect our specific concepts through thought-provoking and attention grabbing installations, props and assets. 

Amanda has completed an Honours degree in Design at the prestigious RMIT University. This formal learning has enabled Amanda to develop creative design solutions and clearly articulate ideas within specific constraints.

Working with her enables us to really hone in and bring our precisely planned experiential marketing and brand activation campaigns to life with her custom made installations and props.

Amanda could also be given the title of Event Designer as her creations have been used for fashion shoots, runway shows, brand launch events and visual merchandising solutions.

Her undeniable passion and creative energy add a wonderful dynamic to the ENGAGE team. 

Alannah – PR & Communications Partner

An ambitious professional with an extensive track record in the design, retail and property space, Alannah provides PR services to ENGAGE clients, helping to bring their activation campaigns to the right audience. With a background in corporate agency environments, Alannah has a wide range of professional contacts and experience across print, digital/social, sponsorships, community activations and publicity. Her track record facilitating large-scale media events and leading successful PR campaigns from strategy to communications to outreach, means she is the perfect fit for the ENGAGE team and our range of amazing clients. 

Olivia – Senior Project Manager

With over 12 years of experience in all things events, Olivia has gained a wide and varied skill set that covers everything from project management, business development, to catering & large scale event production. There isn't a brief she can't fill nor a schedule too tight. Olivia thrives under pressure and delivers every single time. 

Olivia began her carreer by dipping her toes into event management, based at Zoos Victoria, before heading over to Crown Melbourne to further hone her skills. With a passion for all things food, Olivia settled into a Business Development role at one of Melbourne's leading caterers where her creative and production skills were put to great use, implementing many large scale pop up activations.

Major events include the Spring Racing Carnival, Portsea Polo, St Kilda Beach Polo & Motorcycle GP. With a portfolio of clients including private and corporate, Olivia has experience with many brands both local and international.

Olivia prides herself on delivering a seamless experience and has a hands on approach with all projects she produces. Her ability to bring events to life, using her creative, strategic and diverse management skills ensures a memorable & successful outcome for all of her client.

Danielle – Project Manager

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in media and communications from Deakin University and with some real life and work experience behind her, Danielle took her talents to Atlanta, Georgia in 2010. She headed up the Marketing and Public Relations team for DPS Productions. Danielle took the lead on the marketing and promotional campaign for Grammy Award and MTV Music award-winning artist Daron Jones from the R&B group 112. Immersing herself for 2 years in what is known as the “Urban Hollywood”

Prior to becoming Project Manager at ENGAGE, Danielle was living and working in the top end. Danielle was heading up the promotions department for Mix 104.9 and Hot 100 FM – she gained her role in radio by implementing her own viral marketing campaign using the hashtag ‘HireDotti’.  In her time in radio, Danielle worked on a number of innovative campaigns for clients including Australia’s Next Top Model, My PT Rules for Snap Fitness and the Hidden Santa Casuarina Square shopping Centre activation.

In more recent years, Danielle had been running her own agency whilst managing the Marketing and Communications for Hilton. Danielle applies her excitement for developing innovative campaigns to every project.

Danielle’s passion and entrepreneurial mindset combined with over 10 year’s experience in marketing and promotions, make her a great addition to the ENGAGE team.
